I've come to the conclusion that this will be a very fun Christmas. Judd is just so into asking for everything under the sun. But I can say that we must be raising him right, he doesn't expect it. Not always at least. We got our pictures taken on Thursday. It was so hard to decide which ones to get. So we got a lot. Keep an eye on the mail. Wyatt went for his 6 month check-up. He weighs 22lbs. 27in long. He's in the upper 97% of his weight to height! What a chunky monkey!! She said that even though he isn't rolling(wonder why!) He is sitting up so well. The best she's ever seen. What a good boy!
The other day, I was very frustrated with Judd. I told him that it was my turn to watch T.V. (trust me, that doesn't happen) he just got so mad. Cried and cried. He of course calmed down. The next morning he got up and said "Mommy, I sorry about being mad when it was dark." My heart just melted. He is such a gentle natured little boy.
We went to cut down our tree a couple days ago. Got a great shot of Jim and Judd. Wyatt was sleeping in the car. Judd was so excited to decorate the tree. He helped put up the ornaments. Then of coursed became his crazy, run around the room boy. What to do?! I'm having a hard time thinking that Christmas is only 3 weeks away. So much to do, so little time. I have to get the house clean. Cindy, Pete and Lilly are coming for a visit. Oh, I forgot to mention, Cindy is getting MARRIED!! Yeah!! He finally asked. Of course she said yes. We are all so happy to welcome them both into the family. They set the date for May 3.
So once again I'm going to get all sappy. I sometimes think that things are tough. But I remind myself, last year at this time, they were. We have a beautiful, healthy baby boy, a roof over our heads and two very good jobs. (OK, only 1--LOL) So much to be thankful for. Let's all try to look at the positive in our life. I know it's hard, but do it. It helps. Merry Christmas everybody!!
