7 Weeks Later

Well, it's been 7 weeks since the little man was born. Wow has it been long!! We've gone through a lot of trial and error with him. He was allergic to dairy. Then to soy. Now he is on hypoallergenic formula. Then we found out he had acid reflux. That was fun!! So my 8 lb little boy is now my 12 lb 4 oz linebacker. I'm not kidding!! He loves to eat, just like his big brother did and does. I didn't think that they were going to eat me out of house and home this early on. But it appears with 3 "boys" in the house, it's going to happen. We were amazed to see that at 3 weeks, he decided that it would be fun to roll over. Yes, I said roll over. He likes to hold his head up and just give you this wonderful little look. He also has the lip quiver down pat. I wonder were he got that from? Not from me!! The nights are long, but are getting better. Judd is a big help with his brother. When he wants to be! I guess you can't expect much from a 3 year old. Early on he covered his ears when Wyatt cried, now he just keeps on going. He got to visit with his cousins, who gave him " The Hulk and Abomination". That was a big hit. He loves to play outside on his bike and swing set. Though his favorite pastime is still going to Bonnie's. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful child care provider. I really don't know what I would do without her!
Jim is loving his job. Getting in the overtime while he can. Jim and Judd went to an Indians game for Father's Day. They both had a blast. Jim has gone diving a couple different times this summer. I told him he better get it in before I go back to work. Which is unfortunately only a few weeks from now. Though I am switching jobs. I'll be working in the same field, but for a different company. What a scary thing change is. I've been at the same place for 11 years. It's weird to think I won't be going back. But this new job works perfectly for our family. I'll be home every morning and every night at bedtime. I'm excited about that. Life is definitely changing for the best for our family. I can't wait to see what the future brings.
