Well, Sunday marked 2 months since "little" Wyatt joined our family. Just a few weeks ago, my friend Steph had to remind me that he was only going to be 2 months not 3 months!! Wow, talk about baby brain!! The reason I was thinking that was because my "little" baby was a whopping 14 lbs. Yessss, 14 lbs!! and he was wearing 3-6 month clothes. Now before everyone starts saying I feed him to much, keep in mind due to his reflux, he's been on cereal. Yesterday, we went to the Dr. and he was 14 lbs 6 oz, 23 in long. Just like his daddy! She was concerned about his weight, but realized it was due to the cereal. We are slowly trying to take him off of it. The reflux has kicked back in, but nothing like it was. He is starting to smile when you talk to him. And boy does he love his swing!! The other day, we had Judd and his friend Autumn in the van with us and Wyatt just watched them the whole way home. What a precious little boy!! The nights are still long, but I have faith that it will get better!
Judd is my little strong boy. He loves to wrestle with anyone he meets. Literally!! He's into Spider man, Superman, Iceman and the list goes on. He loves playing the X-Box. Though we need to limit his time. He would play it all day if we let him!! He loves to go to the "baby" pool with daddy. And loves to play in the sand. Cindy came up with Pete and Lily a couple weeks ago. He had a blast playing with her. Everyone time he sees a picture of a little kid, "I want to play with him". We took Judd and his friend Autumn to the Wood County Fair. They had so much fun riding the rides. Judd rode one that went up in the air. After that he stuck to the train. They both played a dart game and won! He definitely keeps me on my toes!!
I'm taking it one day at a time. I started my new job last week. I have to say that it is wonderful. It's great being so close to home and having the freedom that I have. I only have to go to the office once a week and that is to turn in my time sheets. I feel trusted. Something that i didn't' feel at my last job. It's nice to know that I won't get in trouble for looking at someone the wrong way. And it's definitely an adjustment. I'm not sure what to do with having a "normal" job. You know, one where I work Mon-Fri. I haven't done that in 11 years! If ever! I still have to get the house organized. Jim is helping there when he can. It's hard for him, when he goes in at 3am and works till 3pm. We found out that Jim is able to get money from the GI Bill. Since while he is working, it is also training/school. That is something that will help us out.
I feel that we are truly blessed. Every time something goes wrong, I remind myself that we have so much to be thankful for. It's hard. We have started to go to church again. We are currently trying our sitters church. Last Wednesday night we went. However, Jim didn't get to hear the message, Judd wouldn't let him leave the kids room. So I think we are going to go back on Sunday. I was told that both my "boys" did well!! We are just going to keep looking till we find a place that we both feel comfortable with. We come from two very different Church backgrounds. So it might be awhile before we find something. But we will learn along the way. Oh, we found out (thanks to Jenn) that the insurance company will cover the cost of Wyatt's formula. That is a true blessing!! The price of that was hurting and the way he eats we were going ever couple days to get it. Thank you Lord!!
Hugs and Kisses to all!!
